Clare Blunden

Clare is a fully qualified and registered Chartered Physiotherapist specialising in Veterinary Physiotherapy.

Clare is a Chartered Physiotherapist who graduated from Oxford Brookes University with First Class Honours in 2020. She began her career within Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Trust, completing a broad range of Band 5 rotations that strengthened her clinical foundations and shaped her holistic, person‑centred approach. She now works as a Senior Physiotherapist in Community Rehabilitation in Swindon, supporting individuals to regain confidence, independence, and quality of life through compassionate, evidence‑based care.

Alongside her human physiotherapy work, Clare is completing her Master’s dissertation after achieving the Postgraduate Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy at Hartpury University. Her lifelong love for animals- growing up surrounded by dogs and horses and competing through Pony Club- naturally evolved into a professional passion for equine and canine rehabilitation. She has a particular interest in supporting equine performance, nurturing horse and rider partnerships, and supporting dogs through individualised physiotherapy to enhance comfort, mobility, and long‑term wellbeing.

Across both her human and animal practice, Clare is deeply committed to welfare, clear communication, and empowering owners to achieve their goals, no matter how big or small. Her approach is grounded in kindness and a genuine desire to help every client thrive.
